    Who we are

    We are a Teaching School Alliance and EEF Research School working to support schools with high quality teacher training, professional development and school improvement support.

    Our purpose

    To improve learning and wellbeing for all pupils, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged.

    Our approach

    The alliance has grown rapidly over the last few years. We now run a comprehensive programme of professional development for school staff, including several fully funded projects, a large Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme (in collaboration with John Donne Primary School and Goldsmiths College) and a series of high profile speaker events and conferences. We also lead a very successful Peer Review programme across over 30 schools and offer high quality school improvement support.

    Our schools

    We work with early years centres, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools, from both the state, academy and independent sectors. We also have strong partnerships HYPERLINK with several universities, education charities and not-for-profit organisations.

    Our impact

    We have a number of local member schools who pay to benefit from our offer, but engage with many more schools across London and beyond. We have a strong track record of supporting schools to improve the quality of teaching and learning, for example leading to a higher Ofsted grading. In 2018-19, over 300 schools accessed our offer.
