Over the last three years, over 500 teachers and school leaders have accessed our events and professional development programmes. All programmes and events have received majority ratings of Good or Excellent and the retention rate on programmes has been extremely high.
Our impact evaluation reports show strong impact on teacher practice and pupil learning:
Membership of the alliance has gone up from 14 schools in 2018-19 to 42 schools as of April 2020. These schools and their staff have benefitted from successful bids we have secured in 2018-19 of around £65,000 and in 2019-20 of around £75,000. This means in 2019-20, each member school on average used their membership to unlock around £1,800 worth of funded projects, on top of the free and discounted professional development programmes they already access.
In terms of school-to-school support, in 2018-19, we had 10 accredited Specialist Leaders of Education. By the end 2019-20, thanks to our highly successful Lead Practitioner programme, we aim to have over 30, and these specialist practitioners will have carried out over 90 days of school improvement support.
