    Enabling Early Learning

    Who is the programme for?

This programme is aimed at Teaching Assistants who are new to the role, new to Early Years or would benefit from a refresher.

    What is involved?

Led by experienced Early Years leaders, the programme focuses on three key areas which will make a significant difference to the way Teaching Assistants support learning in their settings: understanding the curriculum, interacting with children and observing learning. The sessions focus on practical activities and ideas that staff can implement quickly in their own settings and include opportunities to observe effective practice across three settings with excellent provision, and to apply new learning immediately through engagement with children in those settings.

The programme is repeated twice across the year and participants should only attend one set of dates. A maximum of 15 teaching assistantss can attend each programme.
