Master’s Programme for South London Teachers

    Who is the programme for?

This Master’s is run in partnership with Goldsmith’s University and is specifically designed to meet the needs of local serving teachers. Modules have been selected by local teachers to reflect the challenges of teaching in London schools. The programme is run across a series of twilights and Saturdays, and specifically timetabled to accommodate the pressure points teachers face around test and assessment periods in school.

    What is involved?

Teachers can enter and join the programme according to the demands of their school role: one year of study achieves a PG Certificate; two years a PG Diploma and three years the full Master’s degree. Run in a local school with easy access to public transport, sessions start and finish earlier than a usual Master’s twilight, meaning less time pressure on busy teachers. Enrolment will open from September 2019 (subject to final validation).

    Session details

The modules days for the programme will take place at Goldsmiths University and Charles Dickens Primary School.
