    Women's Leadership Network

This has been the best programme I have been on throughout my career and I am so grateful to you. It has been wonderful to be with so many inspiring female leaders and the words of advice and modelling from others has had a profound effect on me. I have always been affected by imposter syndrome and even when I got my new post all I thought was, ‘why me?’ Thanks to your programme, there has been a tangible shift of my mind-set to ‘why not me?’

By far the most inspiring and useful training I have been on. After each session, I found I could go back into school and apply something that I had picked up during the session. It has been a brilliant experience.

This new free programme for female leaders builds on the success of our two year funded women’s leadership programmes from 2016 to 2018.

Both participants and schools were keen for the programme to continue beyond its funded lifetime and thanks to support from Ernst Young, we have put in place an extension programme both for alumni of previous programmes and women currently seeking support in developing their confidence and skills for school leadership.

As in previous years, the programme will be structured to be responsive to the baseline and developing professional learning needs of participants in a supportive environment that fosters peer-to-peer learning and network building. The programme also prioritises having serving women school leaders design and deliver sessions, in order to provide participants with inspiring role models and a network to draw on in the future.
